Who we are

Gimma Games, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is responsible for the personal data described here.

Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: [KVK NUMBER]. Address: [ADDRESS].

What we collect

When you subscribe to updates: your email address, the page you signed up on, your language, the dates you subscribed and unsubscribed, and which version of the consent text you saw.

Your IP address is used for a few minutes to limit abuse of the signup form. We do not store it with your email.

Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to run the site.

Why we use it

We use your email address only to send you updates about our games, such as Gotchaball news and release information.

Legal basis

Your consent (article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it when you submit the signup form, and you can withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address and the date you unsubscribed for 3 months, so that we do not email you again and can show that you opted out. After that it is deleted automatically. If you subscribe again, your new subscription date counts and the earlier unsubscribe date is kept as history until then.

Who processes it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and stores the subscriber list (Cloudflare D1). Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, relying on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your data. If we start using a mailing service to send our updates, we will name it here before we do.

Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and you can object to its use. You can withdraw consent at any time.

To use any of these rights, or to unsubscribe, email us at the address below. We reply within one month.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We store your language choice in a cookie called i18n_locale.

The trailer is a YouTube video loaded in privacy-enhanced mode, and only after you press play. YouTube may set cookies at that point.

Complaints

If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
